Request for Firewall Access

If you are a LAN Manager and you need an IT resource made available to the general Internet, there are several steps that you must take in order to get this accomplished. If you are not a LAN Manager, but you still need an IT resource made available to the general Internet, then please contact your departmental LAN Manager to get this process started.

The university utilizes a web-based application to track all IT resources that are allowed through the firewall. You can access this application if you belong to the LAN Manager's LDAP group.

Please note that ITS will need to know the services that you are wanting to be accessible through the firewall, and the relevant ports that will need to be accessible.
